For Universities

Our aim is to create opportunities for young, talented and motivated individuals from Russia and CIS to achieve their goals by providing access to higher education. We dispel all the myths associated with studying abroad and bring the concept of overseas education to the doorsteps of every student by providing full information on educational opportunities available to them and delivering personalized quality services to our students in an ethical and professional way.

Objectives:

to enable students to benefit linguistically, culturally and educationally from the experience of pursuing academic studies in another country
to contribute to provide good students from vulnerable groups with further education and professional development and empowerment for leadership
to enhance in the medium term the political, cultural, educational and economic links between Russia and countries of the CIS and the English-speaking world.

Our Strengths

Within the last 5 years GSA have established strong links with local Universities and Institutions, foreign non-profit organizations pursuing similar goals, funds, endowments.

The commitment to internationalisation is supported by partnerships with foreign institutions and NGOs based in Russia. We are cooperating with American Councils for International Education, The IIE (Fulbright program administrator), IREX (FLEX program), the British Council, General Consulate of the US in Saint-Petersburg, DAAD branch in Saint-Petersburg, etc.

Our Proposal

We are interested in developing partnerships with recognised Western partner institutions, preferably with ones having an interest in establishing an academic and research base in an emerging market like Russia.

Some of the ideas we are looking at include but are not limited to:

Recruiting the best talents for Master and PhD programs with full scholarships in Natural Sciences, Technical (Engineering, IT), Maths-related subjects from Russia and the CIS countries

We have an access to a large pool of highly qualified applicants in these fields since we keep in close contact with the leading higher education institutions in the Russian-speaking world.

We are able to:

promote your university in Russia and the CIS (for details please, see below)
offer your university 5-10 top applicants per annum who will match high admissions criteria (TOEFL 95 +, GRE 145 +, GPA 4.0 out of 4.0, etc) by the respected deadlines

Recruiting the best talents for Master and PhD programs with partial scholarships in Natural Sciences, Technical (Engineering, IT), Maths-related subjects from Russia and the CIS countries

We have an access to a large pool of highly qualified applicants in these fields since we keep in close contact with the leading higher education institutions in the Russian-speaking world.

Offering 1-2 places at the summer/winter schools for our top students for a reduced participation fee or for free

We are able to:

run the competition in Russia and the CIS and offer you University the finalists to make final selection.

Promotional Activities

Our experience shows that the best way to familiarize young people in Russia and CIS countries with various educational opportunities is the combination of using social media and live presentations.

Our page on vk.com (the most popular social network in Russia and the CIS) where we have over 120 000 + followers. We use it to share information about scholarships, grants, various educational opportunities.
Our website: www.gradstudyabroad.ru It holds first positions in key words (grants, scholarships) in Russian Google and Yandex search engines
Our Youtube channel where we post our videos about education abroad with some 160 000 views.
Our direct e-mailing. We have some 17000 e-mail subscribers, gathered from our visitors during the lectures. Leaving the e-mail address was voluntary, thus we attracted those loyal students who enjoyed our seminars and want to get e-mail alerts.
Our seminars and lectures. We normally hold a lecture on the educational opportunities available abroad every 3 months or so. Each our seminar/lecture attracts more than 200 people. We also travel to different towns in the regions where our lectures are more than welcome due to the lack of information.
Paid-for articles in relevant newspapers (if required).
